About us...

Hello my name is Nellie, my full name is Ykelenstam's Nellie Beautiful Song and I was born in Prince Edward Island to the best breeders; Barry & Diane. I had other brothers and sisters but I was lucky enough to have been adopted along with my brother Tate and now live in New York.

My favorite activities are eating, napping and barking at joggers and bikes! I now have a new brother and am kept busy figuring out ways to get away from him so I can take a siesta or two.

Hi there… I don’t need a full name, like Madonna, Prince & Elvis (Costello that is), I’m just CALVERT! I was born in Virginia on April 1, 2009 to a wonderful family breeder as well; Beth at B&B Mini Schnauzers. Although it’s taken Nellie a while to get use to me I’m soooo happy that I have a sibling to keep me company. Mom says she can never have just one of us.

I’ve been told I eat like a Hoover vacuum cleaner – he he he. Unlike Nellie, I’m kind of picky with the food I eat as I have a very delicate belly; I love chicken, peanut butter and liver treats! I enjoy decorating, I'm sensitive to my surroundings and everything needs to be just so. My favorite activities are playing fetch and tug with my daddy and doing normal everyday puppy stuff; such as tormenting my sister. That’s what little bratty brothers are for after all.

About me

My love affair with the Miniature Schnauzer began in my early twenties with my beloved Chloe*; from then on I was hooked!

After Chloe’s passing it took me only a year to realize that my life was not complete without one of these lovely creatures in my life; enter Nellie & Tate* and now Calvert!

I can’t tell if it’s the breed but they do inspire conversation with their antics and what I like to call Schnauzer Attitude… If they could talk I’m sure I’d have to wash their mouths out with soap!

A NY Christmas

No one is going to be happier than us when the holidays are over.
We’ve had enough of being ignored for the past few weeks, its borderline abuse!

The only good part about this entire season are the tons of pressies we’re going to get …….AND……. sharing the holiday season with all our new friends.

Our mom works in one of the busiest places in NY during Christmas. Today she decided to take a little stroll in her hood and play tourist during her lunch hour. The shots of Radio City were taken from the 4th Floor of her office building.
