A Foster Story

As a lifetime pet parent I always thought I knew everything there was to know about out "best friends", it took my two schnauzers to remind me that I don't know everything... and thanks to them, I'm still learning....

Thanks to Friends with Four Paws, I've had the pleasure of fostering three dogs to date, Yuchie is my third and he's been with us for a little over two months.  I've been responsible for his daily care, but it has been Nellie & Calvert who have done the training.  This little guy has blossomed since he's been here; Calvert has taught him to share and play and Nellie... well, she's taught him a thing or two about boundaries.

Sights I never thought I'd see:

Yuchie exposing his belly....

Sharing a toy...

Sharing some zzzzzz

 If you've ever considered fostering
please give FWFP or your local animal rescue a try.

Happy New Year to all

With Love

Nellie, Calvert, Yuchie
and Claudia

Those green Booda frogs are the best. :) Marge has one, to!

It is so great that you're able to open up your home to a pet in need. I'm sure Yuchie must be so grateful for your generosity and kindness!

Happy New Year!

You, Nellie and Calvert are so generous and kind. Wish there are more responsible people who would be responsible for their pets till the end of their lives and not just dump them when they do not want them anymore.

Have a Happy New Year! Take care!

We dogs know how to train a new member of the pack. Yuckie looks right at home. Hope he finds his family soon.

That's so awesome of you guys! Humans for opening a spot in your homes, and the schnauzers for welcoming newcomers. It takes big hearts to do that!

Thankyou for fostering, it's a valuable job and will change the life of a doggie (or puddy cat) for the better. Tail Wuggles, Rubie.

Oh wow, do you foster the doggy until they find him a home? I'm not sure I'd be able to part with him after a few months.

Your Schnauzers are adorable too and sorta remind me of mine, Archie.

I love your black and silver, I'd love one of those next :)
