Sick Puppy...

Nel: Calvert the big baby is not feeling well, I'm keeping him company but doing my best not to get too close so I don't catch anything myself.

Nel: Mommy's giving him the remote control so he can watch his favorite show on Animal Planet. Spoiled brat.... No, I'm not bitter.... okay, perhaps just a tad jealous.

Cal: Owwwww.... my belly's been aching ever since I stuck my nose in mommy's cereal. How was I suppose to know I can't have mini wheats, something about too much fiber; oh well, they were yummy and totally worth my visit to the vet.

Cal: Dr. Kramer gave me lots of kisses and said I had to be put on a special diet for a while. Since I don't like rice or macaroni (yes I'm picky, wanna make something of it?!?) The doc recommended sweet potatoes... yummy, me likes them!

Cal: I don't know why mommy think's I need a fork; silly mommy... For the past three day's I've been eating like a king! Daddy's concerned I might not touch my regular puppy food again.... Ummm he must be reading my mind!

Cal: I started feeling a bit better after I ate and cuddled next to one of my favorite toys. That and having mommy at home with me all day helped a lot! Ahhhh.... I'm such a lucky puppy....

I'm sorry you were feeling bad. I spent a few times at the vet when I ate something bad.

I never got people food afterwards, though!

I left you both an award on my blog

Oh, Calvert, poor puppy!

When I have a funny tummy my human makes me rice with poached chicken breast and steamed chicken. I love it soooo much!

I've been negotiating with my human, and now I get that for dinner quite often. Sometimes she puts some apple in with it, too. Or boiled egg. Or potato. My human often wonders how it is that I eat better than she does.

I think I will politely suggest that she puts in some of that sweet potato stuff, it sounds good.

Make sure you practice your "funny tummy" face now, then you can use it in the future to get special yummy meals whenever you want them!

Ooh, Calvert, I told my human about the sweet potato, and tonight for dinner I had poached chicken breast with sweet potato and normal potato! It was delicious!

My human says I'm a bit spoiled, but I don't see it. I deserve yummy food like that!

Puppy kisses
